I build professional looking sites but without the bells and whistles. They are stable, based on the latest tools and don’t fall over.
My Tools
I use the WordPress content management system to base the site on.
WordPress is well known as a blogging platform but some of the most popular websites in the world run on WordPress.
use a commercial theme provider – Woo Themes. A theme is the look and feel of the site.
All my sites are hosted on Bluehost– used by millions of websites.
Reporting
Generally you will get weekly reports on the traffic going to your site.
As well, I monitor the site uptime and performance.
Infrastructure
An optional extra for any website is Google Apps.
Route all your email via Google and have it backed up securely and accessible from anywhere. It is still accessible as before on your iPad or using Outlook on a PC.
I use it extensively.
This combination gets you a mature, flexible, cost-effective and stable model to base a website on.
